3^rd Brentwood Cubs meet every Tuesday in term time from6.30-8.00pm.  During the winter we usually meet in St. Helen’s Cathedral Parish Hall on theIngrave Road.  However in the summer months we make the most of the light evenings and meet outdoors; often at Thriftwood, Shenfield Common or anywhere else we can think of! The Pack is run by Jane (Akela) and Greg with lots of parent help!

We aim to have loads of fun. We try out new things; but still enjoy our old favourites.  We get together with Hutton All Saints to play cricket and have BBQs.  We camp and sleepover and work towards badges.

This year every Cub has made an airfix spitfire and there was no paint on the curtains!  We’ve tried fencing and canoeing and no summer is complete without cycling and fishing.  We’ve also learnt some useful skills like navigating and fire lighting.  Next term we will visit the fire station.
